Learning Copilot is being developed as an early-identification research platform: using everyday learning behaviour to surface potential special educational needs sooner, and validating those signals against real-world outcomes. We're looking for pilot schools and research partners to build it with.
What we're building
Early-identification research
Behavioural signals from everyday learning — response times, retries, audio replays, reading dwell — are studied as a scalable, non-intrusive early indicator of SEN, years before formal assessment.
Validated, not assumed
Indicator weights are research-derived and being independently validated against confirmed diagnoses. Everything is framed as an indicator to explore, never a label.
A view built for educators
A read-only teacher view brings each learner's progress, screening trends over time and SENCO-style reports into one place — designed around how schools already work.
Safeguarding-first
Built to UK GDPR and the ICO Children's Code, with row-level data isolation. School deployment (data-processing agreement, DSL interface) is in active development.
